The JUGS Protector Series Screen Wheel Kit bolts onto black JUGS Protector Series protective screens so one person can move them alone. Lift the screen directly above the kit, kick the wheels underneath, and roll the screen from the cage to the field, between baseball practice stations, or into storage. The kit attaches in minutes and fits black Protector Series screens only.
Who Needs a Separate Wheel Kit
Every new black Protector Series screen now comes standard with this wheel kit, including the L-Shaped Screen, the C-Shaped Softball Screen, the Square Baseman Screen, the Square Screen with Sock-Net and the Short-Toss Screen. If you are buying one of those screens, you do not need to order the kit separately.
The standalone kit is for programs and facilities that already own a black Protector Series screen without wheels, or that need to replace a kit. Moving a 7 ft steel screen across a field is often a two-person carry. With the kit attached, a single coach can do it between drills without stopping practice.
How the JUGS Protector Series Screen Wheel Kit Works
The kit bolts onto the screen. Once it is attached, engaging the wheels takes two steps:
- Lift the screen directly above the wheel kit.
- Kick the wheels under the screen.
Then roll the screen to where it is needed. There is no separate cart to load and no need for a second person to carry the other end.
Compatibility
The wheel kit is made for black JUGS Protector Series screens only. It will not work with:
- Protector Blue Series screens, such as the Protector Blue Series L-Shaped Pitchers Screen
- Standard screens, such as the Standard L-Shaped Pitchers Screen
- Fixed Frame screens
- Quick-Snap protective screens
