JUGS Protector Series Replacement Screen Netting
JUGS Protector Series Replacement Screen Netting is a replacement net for black JUGS Protector Series protective screens. Made from black, double-thick 691-90 ply polyester, it is the same heavy netting the screens are built with, so a worn net can be swapped for a new one while the steel frame, padding and wheel kit stay in service. Choose the net that matches your screen: L-Shaped, C-Shaped, Short-Toss, Sock-Net or Square.
Choosing the Right Replacement Net
Each option is cut to the shape of one Protector Series screen:
- L-Shaped: for the Protector Series L-Shaped Screen, the 7 ft x 7 ft baseball screen with a 3 ft x 3 ft cut-out for machine feeders.
- C-Shaped: for the Protector Series C-Shaped Softball Screen, the 7 ft x 5 ft fastpitch screen with a 33 x 18 inch cut-out.
- Short-Toss: for the Protector Series Short-Toss Screen, the compact 7 ft x 4 ft screen for close-range toss.
- Sock-Net: for the Protector Series Square Screen with Sock-Net, the 7 ft x 7 ft tee and toss screen with a 3 ft sock.
- Square: for the Protector Series Square Baseman Screen, the full 7 ft x 7 ft field screen for basemen and coaches.
These nets fit black Protector Series screens only. Protector Blue Series screens use their own net, sold as Protector Blue Series Replacement Screen Netting.
Built for Close-Range, High-Volume Use
The netting on a protective screen takes the most punishment of any part of it. On an L-screen or a short-toss screen, most balls hit back up the middle land in the same area of the net, at short range, every day. This replacement net is double-thick 691-90 ply polyester, built to withstand close-range batting practice and high-volume use.
It is also UV-resistant and suitable for indoor and outdoor training, so it holds up whether the screen lives in a hitting facility or on a baseball field in the sun all season.
Installing JUGS Protector Series Replacement Screen Netting
Each net is designed to fit the existing Protector Series frame. Installation needs no welding or lacing, so a coach can install the new net and get back to practice in minutes. Replacing the net keeps the frame, padding and wheels you already own in service, rather than replacing the full screen.
For small tears in an otherwise sound net, a Batting Cage and Screen Net Repair Kit can extend its life until it is time for a full replacement. If an older screen is still being carried around the field, the Protector Series Wheel Kit bolts on so one person can roll it.
Who It Is For
High school and college baseball and softball programs, hitting facilities and backyard owners with a black Protector Series screen whose netting is worn, frayed or damaged, and who want the screen back to full protection without buying a new frame.
