The ProNine PM9 is the classic yellow dimpled machine ball done right: 9 inch, molded optic yellow dimpled cover over a solid polyurethane center, 47 COR and compression controlled to a 375 pound max so it comes off the wheels consistent and leaves bats undented. It is the lowest cost-per-rep way to keep a pitching machine fed. Sold by the dozen.

Why Dimpled Balls Own the Cage

No seams to shred, no leather to waterlog, no windings to break down: a molded dimpled ball is practically weatherproof and machine-proof, which is why batting cages everywhere run yellow. The optic yellow cover stays visible in any light, indoors or out.

Compression Controlled, Bat Safe

ProNine holds the PM9 to 47 COR with compression controlled at a 375 pound max. In plain terms: consistent bounce off the bat, ball after ball, without the rock-hard feel that dents barrels. Machines throw strikes with it because every ball in the bucket behaves like the last one.

Where It Fits

Step up to the CPM9 composite for a stitched-style feel or the LPM9 leather for the full game-ball experience. Young hitters starting out do better with the PM9 Lite foam version. The 12 inch softball twin is the PM12, and everything here feeds the pitching machines we carry.

How long do dimpled balls last?
