About the Poly Cone Batting Tee
The Poly Cone Batting Tee is built for hitters of every level and every approach. The tee is made from polyurethane, which is more durable than rubber and will not dent or break the way rubber tees do after a season of hard swings. The result is a tee that keeps its shape, keeps its height and keeps working through thousands of reps.
A wide, weighted base keeps the tee steady on home plate, turf, mats and grass. The telescoping post adjusts so you can set the cone at the right height for the pitch location you are working on.

- Telescoping, height adjustable post
- Wide, weighted base for stability
- Holds baseballs, softballs and training balls
Tee Drills Worth Doing Every Day
- Location work: set the tee inside, middle and outside and move the tee forward or back in the box to match where contact should happen for each pitch.
- High and low: raise and lower the cone to practice staying through the top of the zone and getting to the knee-high pitch.
- Opposite field: set the tee deep and drive the ball the other way with the hands inside the ball.
- One hand work: short top hand and bottom hand swings to clean up the path before full swings.
- Pause drill: load, hold for a count, then swing to build balance and a stable base.
Polyurethane vs Rubber
Rubber tees are soft, so the cone and post fold, crack and tear over time, and a tee that sags no longer sets the ball where the hitter thinks it is. Polyurethane holds its shape under repeated contact, so the height you set is the height you hit from, and the tee lasts much longer in a busy cage or on a team field.
Pairs Well With
Use the Power Ball Foam Hitting Trainer or TruFlight AceBallz foam training baseballs for indoor tee work, the TruFlight softball version for fastpitch hitters, add the Catch Bat Hitting and Bunting Trainer for contact and bunting drills, and set a Pitch Location Mat under the tee for location work. For an all steel option with a 24 to 46 inch range, see the Steel Cone Batting Tee.
