ProNine IPTB Ideal Path Training Bat - Youth and Adult, 1 Hand and 2 Hand
The ProNine IPTB Ideal Path training bat puts its weight above the hands to teach the swing path directly: a balanced feel with added weight that increases bat speed and power, improves bat path, and eliminates casting. Built in durable birch bamboo in four models: Youth 1 Hand (20 inch, 23 oz), Adult 1 Hand (25 inch, 30 oz), Youth 2 Hand (30 inch, 36 oz), and Adult 2 Hand (34 inch, 46 oz). Sold individually.
Weight Above the Hands, On Purpose
Casting - letting the barrel drift away from the body early - is the most common swing leak at every level. Loading the IPTB above the hands makes a cast immediately heavy and awkward, while a connected, efficient path feels natural. The bat coaches the movement so the coach can watch the results.
Train Heavy, Swing Fast
ProNine builds the IPTB to let players train with a heavier bat: overload work that builds strength through the exact positions of the swing. The 1-hand models isolate each arm; the 2-hand models load the full movement.
Where It Fits
For straight overload/underload speed work, run the Overload and Underload pair. For unweighted one-hand isolation, the OHT is the lighter tool. The whole rack lives in the training bats collection.
Like all ProNine training bats, it is built for tee work and soft toss: ProNine does not recommend training bats for live pitching, and that honesty is why they last.

1 hand or 2 hand model?
The 2-hand models train the full swing and are the usual starting point; the 1-hand models isolate top or bottom hand for targeted work. Serious programs eventually run both.
Is a 46 oz bat safe for my player?
Weighted bats belong in controlled tee and soft toss work with sensible rep counts. Youth players should use the youth models; the adult 2-hander is a lot of bat by design.
