ProNine OHT One Handed Training Bat - Bamboo - 20, 23 and 25 Inch
The ProNine OHT is a one handed training bat in durable bamboo, made to strengthen the top or bottom hand in soft toss and tee drills. Three lengths cover every age: 20 inch at 16 oz, 23 inch at 17 oz, and 25 inch at 18 oz, all in black. Sold individually.
Why One Hand at a Time
Isolating one hand exposes what the full swing hides. Bottom-hand reps teach the pull and direction of the swing; top-hand reps train the release and extension through contact. Coaches run one-hander rounds precisely because a two-handed swing lets the strong hand cover for the weak one.
Bamboo That Outlasts the Drill
Bamboo takes the repeated off-center contact of learning players without the crack-and-replace cycle of cheap wood one-handers. The three lengths let programs match the bat to the player instead of forcing one size on a whole roster.
Where It Fits
The Ideal Path trainer also comes in 1-hand models with added weight above the hands, and the Hit Stick HEC bat narrows the barrel for the next level of contact work. The rest of the rack lives in the training bats collection.
Like all ProNine training bats, it is built for tee work and soft toss: ProNine does not recommend training bats for live pitching, and that honesty is why they last.

Which length should I pick?
Shorter is more demanding: most youth players start at 20 inch, high school and adult players run 23 or 25 inch. When in doubt, size down; the drill is about control, not reach.
Top hand or bottom hand first?
Most coaches start bottom-hand to build the engine of the swing, then add top-hand rounds for extension. Alternating rounds inside one session works well once the movements are clean.
