About the Power Bag Drop Rod Replacement Part
The Power Bag Drop Rod Replacement Part slips into the Power Bag arm and holds the Power Bag cable. Each drop rod comes with a nut and bolt. Choose the 19 inch or 24 inch length to match your setup.
About the Power Bag
The Power Bag is a heavy contact trainer that teaches hitters to drive through the ball with strong hands and a stable lower half. It hangs from an arm and cable and swings around after contact, so the hitter gets instant feedback on how much force reached the bag. A worn arm, cable or drop rod takes a station out of service; these replacement parts keep every bag hitting.
Choose a Length
- 19": 19 inch drop rod with nut and bolt
- 24": 24 inch drop rod with nut and bolt
Match the length of the rod you are replacing so the bag hangs at the same height.
Ordering Tips
Order the exact part you are replacing, and consider ordering a spare of the parts that take the most load. A station that hits every day will wear the cable and drop rod first.
Who It Is For
Team cages, training facilities and players with a Power Bag at home all rely on these parts to keep the station hitting season after season.
Keep Your Power Bag Station Running
- Inspect the arm, cable and drop rod before each session.
- Replace any part that is bent, frayed or loose before it fails.
- Keep a spare cable and drop rod on hand for busy cages.
- Mount the station on a sturdy pole, the Power Bag and Zone Hitter Stand or the Institutional Power Zone Hitting Station.
Installing the Drop Rod
Slide the drop rod into the Power Bag arm, secure it with the included nut and bolt, then attach the cable and bag. Check that the bag hangs at the hitter's contact height and swings freely before the first swing.
Getting the Height Right
The drop rod sets how far below the arm the cable and bag hang. If the bag sits too high or too low for your hitters after a replacement, swap to the other length or adjust the arm on the pole so contact lands in the middle of the bag.
