About the Markwort Leather Corkballs - Team Pack Dozen
Markwort Leather Corkballs are the small, leather-covered balls used in corkball, a bat-and-ball game related to baseball that can be played by as few as two players. Each ball measures 6 1/2 inches around and weighs about 1.6 ounces, a fraction of a regulation baseball, so a game fits in a backyard, a schoolyard or a narrow strip of grass. This team pack holds one dozen balls and comes in white or yellow.
A Small Ball That Sharpens a Baseball Swing
Squaring up a ball this size takes a level path and real focus on the point of contact, which is why baseball players use corkball as a hitting drill as well as a game. After a session tracking a 6 1/2 inch ball onto a thin corkball bat, a full-size baseball looks big at the plate. It is also simple backyard fun for families and neighborhood games. A corkball bat is not included.
