G Tee Lite Low Ball Tee
The G Tee Lite Low Ball Tee is the travel version of the low ball range. It sets the ball at the bottom of the strike zone on a nine inch base that fits in a bat bag, which makes it the one a baseball or softball hitter actually takes to the field rather than leaves in the garage.
Light enough to carry, built like the rest of the range
The nine inch square base is high density polyethylene and the Lite tee weighs about five pounds complete. The saving is in the base rather than the mechanism: the upright, the seals and bushings and the cup are the same precision machined parts used on the Classic and Pro tees, so the tee gets lighter without getting cheaper to hit off.
Four fixed heights
Choose 10, 13, 16 or 19 inches. A fixed upright cannot sink under contact the way a telescoping one can, which is what you want from a tee that is set to one height anyway.
What you give up
The Lite base has no weight post, so there is no option to add a 10 pound plate. On a smooth indoor floor, or under a hitter who really drives down through the ball, it will move more than a weighted Classic base. That is the trade for a base that fits in a bag, and it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
Who this low ball tee is for
Hitters who travel with their own tee, coaches who carry equipment between fields, and anyone short of storage. If the tee is going to live in one place, the Classic low ball tee and its weight post are the better buy.

Will it stay put on a gym floor?
It is the lightest base in the range, so on a polished floor expect to reset it occasionally. A sand bag over the base solves it without adding permanent weight to carry.
Can I put a regular upright on this base later?
Yes. The Lite base takes any G Tee upright, including the full telescoping uprights.
Does it fit in a bat bag?
That is what the nine inch base is for. It breaks down without tools in seconds.
Baseball or softball?
Both. The 1.5 inch cup takes either ball.
