G Tee Classic Low Ball Tee
The G Tee Classic Low Ball Tee puts the ball at the bottom of the strike zone on the same 12 inch base that carries the standard Classic tee. It is the middle of the low ball range: heavier and more stable than the travel Lite, less expensive than the stainless Pro, and the version most baseball and softball hitters end up buying for a cage or a garage.
A weight post you can use when you need it
The 12 inch by 12 inch base is high density polyethylene with a weight post built in, and it takes an optional 10 pound plate. That is the useful compromise: the tee is light enough to carry to the field, and the moment it lives in one place you can weight it and stop thinking about it. Low pitch work drives the ball down and forward into the base more than middle of the zone work does, so the weight earns its place here.
Four fixed heights
Choose 10, 13, 16 or 19 inches. Fixed uprights rather than telescoping ones, so the height cannot creep down under contact, and seals and bushings inside the post keep the ball where you set it through a full round.
The flexible rubber cup
The G Tee cup flexes rather than fighting the bat, so a hitter hears and feels the ball leave the barrel instead of feeling the post. It is a replaceable part, which is the whole design philosophy of the tee: nothing about it is disposable.
Who this low ball tee is for
Hitters and coaches who want low pitch work at a real height rather than a compromise, and who need one tee that travels occasionally but mostly stays put. If it needs to live in a bat bag, the Lite low ball tee is nine inches square and lighter. If it needs to hold the corners of the plate in a program setting, the Pro is stainless.

What is included
One fixed upright in the height you choose, the Classic base with its weight post, and the flexible rubber cup. The optional 10 pound weight plate is not included.
Do I need the weight plate?
Not for ordinary use. It is worth adding if the tee lives in one spot and takes heavy volume, or if you are hitting on a slick surface.
Can I use this base with a normal upright too?
Yes. The Classic base accepts any G Tee upright, so the same base takes a full telescoping upright when you want to work the rest of the zone.
How is this different from the Lite low ball tee?
The Lite base is nine inches square, weighs about five pounds and has no weight post. This one is twelve inches square and can be weighted.
Is it suitable for softball?
Yes. The cup takes a baseball or a softball.
