How AceGripz Works

Hitters spend years swinging bats with nearly identical handle sizes, so the muscles in the fingers, wrists and forearms get used to that one grip. AceGripz slips over the handle and makes it thicker, which forces those muscles to work harder on every swing. Players keep their normal swing, at their normal speed, and simply swing with the grip on during tee work, soft toss or dry swings. Over weeks of use the hands and forearms get stronger, so when the grip comes off the bat feels lighter and the barrel moves faster through the zone.

How to Use It

  • Open the grip at the slit and slide it onto the handle of the bat.
  • Take your normal swings off a tee, in soft toss or as dry swings.
  • Start with short sets and build up as grip strength improves.
  • Take the grip off and finish each session with a few game swings to feel the lighter handle.
