About the AceSportz AceBallz Training Balls - 12 Pack
AceSportz AceBallz are flexible PVC training balls for live warm ups before games, soft toss and short front toss. They come in packs of 12 in three sizes, or a variety pack with four of each size.
Choose a Size
- Small 5.5 in: a small ball that makes hitters focus hard to square it up; a regular baseball looks huge afterward
- Medium 9 in: about the size of a baseball
- Large 12 in: about the size of a softball
- Variety: 4 small, 4 medium and 4 large AceBallz, for baseball and softball players
Why Train With AceBallz
AceBallz are flexible PVC training balls with holes that do not fly far, so hitters can take full swings in a backyard, a gym or a small cage. The soft, flexible shell makes the ball hard to square up: a hitter has to concentrate and barrel it to drive it, which carries over into better swings in games. They are tougher than ordinary plastic balls, resist tearing and are UV treated for outdoor use.
Drills to Run
- Pregame live warm up: short front toss with medium balls before the game.
- Soft toss focus: small balls from the side make hitters track the ball all the way in.
- Backyard batting practice: hit without chasing balls across the neighborhood.
- Softball work: large balls match the size of a softball.
Pairs Well With
For foam training baseballs that fly true, see the TruFlight AceBallz Foam Training Baseballs. For strength work off the tee, add Ace Heavy Ballz or the Power Ball 5-Inch Foam Hitting Trainer.
