The Varsity 7x7 L Screen Replacement Net is a #60 knotted net built to fit the Varsity 7x7 L Screen. It also fits most other 7 ft by 7 ft L screen frames that have a 3 ft by 3 ft cutout. The net slides over the frame pillowcase style, so it puts two layers of net between the hitter and the person behind the screen.

When to Replace Your L Screen Net

Nets wear out before frames do, usually along the frame line where the net rubs the steel. Replace the net when holes are bigger than a baseball, when the cord is frayed along the frame, or when the net has stretched and sags. A new net puts an older frame back in service for a fraction of the cost of a new screen.

Installation

Remove the old net, check the frame joints and retighten the hardware. Slide the new net over the top of the frame, line the cutout up with the cutout in the frame, and pull it down evenly so both layers sit flat and tight.
