About the Markwort Softball Bases 15x15x2 - Set of 3

The Markwort Softball Bases 15x15x2 are a set of three strap-and-spike softball bases for practice fields, parks and rec diamonds that have no ground anchors. Each base is a 15 inch square, 2 inch thick foam-filled cushion with a vinyl coated cover, held down with web straps and metal spikes, so a softball field can be laid out in minutes and cleared just as fast.

A Lower Profile Softball Base Set

This set shares its 15 inch footprint with the Markwort Baseball Bases 15x15x3 but stands an inch lower, at 2 inches thick. Every base carries two web straps and two 9-1/2 inch metal spikes: drive the spikes through the straps into packed dirt and the base holds for practice, then lifts out when the field is shared with another sport or the season wraps up. For younger players there is also the smaller Markwort Junior Baseball Bases 14x14x2.

Softball programs that run practices on open grass or a shared park field get a consistent set of foam-filled bags without cutting in anchors, and the whole set packs away after practice.
