About the Markwort Soft Lightweight Baseballs - Dozen

Markwort Soft Lightweight Baseballs are made for the youngest baseball players: T-ball, coach-pitch and early youth leagues, ages 4 to 7 and older. Each ball weighs about 2.5 ounces, half the weight of a regulation 5 oz baseball, with a synthetic leather cover and red stitching over an acrylic felt center. It looks like a real baseball, so kids learn to field, throw and hit with a stitched ball in hand, but it is far softer when a grounder takes a bad hop. Sold by the dozen.

Choose a Size and Color

The 9 inch ball is the same size as a standard baseball and comes in white or yellow. The 8.5 inch ball is slightly smaller around and comes in white, a good fit for the smallest hands on the team.
