The Markwort 8 Inch Trapezoid Step-Over Agility Dummy is a low, black training bag that turns any patch of grass or turf into a football footwork station. It stands 8 inches tall, runs 48 inches long and spreads 18 inches wide at the base, so it sits flat and stays put while players step, shuffle and high-knee over it. Coaches use a row of these to teach players to lift their feet and keep their eyes up through traffic, the same habit a lineman or ball carrier needs at the line of scrimmage.

A Softer Obstacle Than a Hurdle

Cones mark a spot and hurdles test height, but neither feels like stepping over a body on the ground. The step-over dummy fills that gap. Its trapezoid shape keeps it from rolling when a foot clips it, and the padded bag forgives a missed step instead of tripping a player the way a rigid hurdle can. That makes it a comfortable drill for younger players learning to run through bodies as well as varsity teams warming up.

Built for Daily Practice

The cover is 18 ounce nylon with a vinyl coating and double-stitched seams, a build meant to handle cleats, wet grass and being dragged from drill to drill. A handle lets one coach carry and reposition it quickly between reps.
