The GT1231 rubber cup is the part of a G Tee batting tee that actually holds the ball, and it is the part that wears out. At 1.5 inches in diameter it takes both a baseball and a softball, and the flexible rubber is what lets a hitter hear and feel contact rather than fighting a rigid post. Because every G Tee part is replaceable, a worn cup is a few dollars instead of a new tee. Order two or more and a G Tee Cup Cutter is included free.
