G Tee Pro Base
The G Tee Pro Base is the quarter inch stainless steel base under the Pro range, sold on its own. It is the answer to the problem every serious baseball tee eventually has: a base that slides, tips or has to be weighted down to sit on the corners of the plate.
Stability from the material, not from added weight
Quarter inch stainless steel is heavy enough on its own that the base does not need a weight plate stacked on it, and rigid enough that it does not flex when a hitter works the inside corner with the base half off the plate. That is the specific case the Pro base is built for, and it is where a lighter polyethylene base gives up.
Three sizes, with or without assembly
Choose 16, 18 or 20 inches. Larger bases give a wider footprint for plate work; smaller ones are easier to move and store. Each size can be ordered bare, or with a complete upright assembly if you want a working tee rather than just the base.
It takes any G Tee upright
The Pro base uses the same upright fitting as the rest of the range, so a telescoping upright, a low ball attachment or a 3N1 attachment all drop straight in. Buying a base is buying into the system rather than into one configuration.
Who this base is for
Programs and facilities replacing a worn base, hitters upgrading a Classic or Lite tee without starting over, and anyone who needs a tee to hold the corners of the plate. For a lighter and less expensive base, the Classic base uses a weight post instead.

What is included
The base in the size you choose. Ordered without assembly it is the base alone; ordered with assembly it arrives with a complete upright fitted, which includes the rubber cup and locking pin.
Which size should I choose?
20 inch for the widest footprint and the most stability on the plate, 16 inch if the tee has to travel or share space in a cage, 18 inch as the middle ground.
Do I need the assembly option?
Only if you do not already own an upright. If you are replacing a cracked base and keeping your upright, order it bare.
Will it work with my existing Classic tee upright?
Yes. All G Tee uprights use the same fitting.
