G Tee Pitch Break Rod
The G Tee Pitch Break Rod is a 36 inch rod that mounts to a G Tee and sets an angle for a baseball hitter to work against. It puts a physical obstacle in the path of a bad swing, so a hitter finds out immediately when the barrel takes the wrong route to the ball.
Feedback that arrives before the coach does
A hitter can be told they are casting for an entire season without changing anything. Clipping a rod on the way to the ball ends the argument in one rep. That is the whole case for a barrier drill, and it is why these rods survive in cages long after other gadgets are put away.
Single or triple
The single attachment sets one angle. The triple attachment sets three, which turns the tee into a path that has to be threaded rather than a single line to avoid, and is the version coaches use for the harder version of the drill. The triple is sold with a complete base assembly.
Choose a base or use your own
Single attachments come with a Classic base, a Lite base, a Pro base in 16, 18 or 20 inch, or on their own with no base. If you already own a G Tee, buy the attachment alone. The rod uses the standard upright fitting, so it drops into any G Tee base.
Who this is for
Coaches running bat path work with baseball hitters, and hitters who want to train the route to the ball rather than just contact. Sits naturally alongside the Swing Extension Rod, which trains the other end of the same swing.

Do I need a base?
Not if you own a G Tee. The attachment only option exists for exactly that case and is the cheapest way in.
Single or triple?
Single for straightforward bat path work. Triple when you want the drill to be genuinely demanding.
Does it fit the Quad or the triple bases?
It uses the standard upright fitting, so it mounts wherever an upright mounts. Fit on the Quad and G Tee 3 bases is not confirmed by the manufacturer, so check before relying on it.
