G Tee Cast Stick
The G Tee Cast Stick is a 48 inch attachment that mounts to a G Tee and gives a baseball hitter something to hit if the barrel casts away from the body. Casting is one of the most common faults in hitting and one of the hardest to fix by instruction alone, because the hitter cannot feel it happening.
The fault has to have a consequence
A hitter told to keep their hands inside the ball will nod and then cast on the next swing. A hitter who clips a rod on the way to the ball adjusts immediately, and keeps adjusting, because the feedback arrives at the moment of the mistake rather than several seconds later from the side of the cage. That is the entire mechanism, and it is why barrier drills outlast most training aids.
Attachment only, or with a base
Buy the attachment alone if you already own a G Tee, since it uses the standard upright fitting and drops into any G Tee base. Buy it with the Lite base if you want a self contained trainer, which is also the version that travels most easily.
Who this is for
Coaches working on hand path with baseball hitters, and players who have been told they cast and want a way to train it alone. Works alongside the Click Stick, which trains extension rather than path.

- Available as attachment only, or with a G Tee Lite base
- Uses the standard G Tee upright fitting
- Warranty: two years on all parts and labor
What is included
The 48 inch cast stick attachment, plus the Lite base if you choose that option. Ordered as attachment only, no base or tee is included.
Do I need to buy the base?
Not if you own a G Tee already. The attachment fits any G Tee base.
Which G Tee bases does it fit?
It uses the standard upright fitting, so the Classic, Lite and Pro bases all take it.
Is it used with a ball on the tee?
Yes. The point is that the hitter takes a real swing at a real ball and finds out whether the barrel took the right route.
