G Tee Axis Trainer

$299.00

G Tee Axis Trainer

The G Tee Axis Trainer is a tall adjustable upright that gives a baseball hitter a fixed vertical reference to swing around. Where a tee tells you where the ball is, the axis trainer tells you what your body did to get there.

A reference you cannot argue with

Rotation is hard to coach because a hitter cannot see their own. A fixed vertical post next to the swing changes that: drifting forward, pulling off the ball or collapsing the back side all become visible against a straight line, to the hitter as well as the coach. It removes most of the guesswork from a conversation that is usually all guesswork.

Two heights

The trainer adjusts to 48 or 72 inches. The 48 inch setting suits most hitters for rotational work; the 72 inch setting gives a full height reference and suits taller players and coaches who want the line to run past the hitter's head.

With a base or without

Order it with a Classic base, with a Pro 20 inch stainless base, or with no base if you already own a G Tee. The no base option is the sensible one for anyone who already has a tee, since it uses the standard G Tee upright fitting.

Who this trainer is for

Coaches working on rotation and posture with baseball hitters, and hitters training alone who need feedback that does not depend on someone watching. It is a drill piece rather than a tee: buy it alongside a tee, not instead of one.

None, if you already own a G Tee. The Pro 20 if it is going to live in a facility. The Classic if it needs to be moved regularly.

Can I use it with a tee at the same time?

Not on the same single position base. A Pro Quad base has four upright positions, which is one way to run both together.

48 or 72 inch?

48 inch for most hitters and most drills. 72 inch when you want the reference to extend above the hitter.
