Easton 2026 Ghost Youth -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat EFP6GHY11

The Easton 2026 Ghost Youth -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (EFP6GHY11) is a one-piece alloy bat made for young fastpitch softball players. A light -11 swing weight and an ultra-thin 29/32 inch handle fit smaller hands and help developing hitters get the barrel to the ball, and the forgiving barrel builds confidence while swing mechanics are still coming together. It is a strong first fastpitch bat for players entering organized softball and moving up through the younger age groups.

ALX50 Alloy, Built as One Piece

The Ghost Youth is made from Easton's ALX50 alloy in a one-piece design. One-piece alloy bats feel stiff and direct at contact, so a young hitter gets clear feedback on where the ball met the barrel. That feedback is useful while a player is learning to keep her hands inside the ball and drive through it. The alloy is also tough, which matters for a bat that will see tee work, soft toss, practice and weekend games in the same week.

A Handle Sized for Young Hands

Many youth hitters struggle with a handle that is simply too thick to grip with the fingers. The Ghost Youth uses an ultra-thin 29/32 inch handle with an All-Sports Grip, so a player can hold the bat in her fingers rather than her palms, which helps quickness and wrist action through the zone. The grip adds comfort and a secure hold in the hands.

Picking a Ghost Youth Length

Every length is a -11, so each bat weighs 11 ounces less than its length in inches:

• 26 inch: 15 ounces
• 27 inch: 16 ounces
• 28 inch: 17 ounces
• 29 inch: 18 ounces
• 30 inch: 19 ounces
• 31 inch: 20 ounces

Choose the length she can swing quickly and control, not the longest one that seems to fit. If she can hold the bat out to the side by the handle for several seconds without the barrel sagging, the weight is manageable. Between two lengths, the shorter bat is usually the better choice for a developing hitter.

Certification and League Play

The Ghost Youth is an all-association fastpitch bat, carrying the USA Softball, United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) fastpitch, NSA, ISA and WBSC stamps. That covers most recreational, school and travel fastpitch play, but rules change, so check your league's current bat list before game day. It is a fastpitch softball bat only and is not for slowpitch or baseball.
