ProNine Lite Flight Foam Baseballs - 9 Inch - Dozen
ProNine Lite Flight foam baseballs are 9 inch polyurethane sponge training balls at one third of regulation weight, approved for indoor and outdoor use. Light enough for tight spaces and young arms, real enough in size that swings and catches transfer to the game ball. Color: yellow. Sold by the dozen.
Limited Flight, Unlimited Reps
At a third of regulation weight, a squared-up Lite Flight ball travels far enough to reward the hitter and short enough to keep practice contained. That makes it the batting practice ball for gyms, backyards, and shared fields where a regulation ball is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Pitchers can throw live to hitters at close range, and the soft polyurethane sponge takes fear out of the equation for young players.
Foam That Works Outdoors Too
ProNine approves the Lite Flight line for indoor and outdoor use, so the same dozen covers winter gym sessions and summer driveway work. The bright yellow color keeps the ball visible indoors and out.
Where It Fits
The Lite Flight foam softballs cover the other sport. If you want airflow-style plastic instead of foam, the ProNine PTB-9 plastic training balls are the perforated take on the same idea, and the CTB foam curve trainer adds breaking-ball practice. Everything else lives in the training balls collection.

Will foam balls hold up outside?
ProNine approves them for indoor and outdoor use. Polyurethane sponge shrugs off normal practice contact; like any foam ball, they last longest when they stay out of standing water.
Foam or perforated plastic?
Foam flies truer off the bat and feels better on contact; perforated plastic is even lighter and cheaper per ball. Many coaches run foam for hitting stations and plastic for high-volume toss drills.
