The Tru-Toss Soft Toss Pitching Machine is the first non-electric soft toss unit to deliver the ball from the ground up as if you had a partner. Best of all it's only half the price of more expensive electric models. The Tru-Toss uses a manual release lever that you tap with your bat when ready. You have a full 4-5 seconds to get set before the ball rebounds into your hitting zone. It's amazing!

trutoss-pitching-machine-rebounder.jpgWe have taken a steel frame and placed an 11" square tightly strung racket in the center. The racket pivots and has adjustable knobs. This allows you to adjust the angle with which the ball comes off the rebounder into the hitting zone. You can easily adjust the height the ball is delivered by raising and lowering the ball holder at the tripod. The ball can be delivered to the hitting zone at any height you choose between 20" and 55".

  • Holds 15 baseballs or 12 softballs
  • True soft toss pitching just like a coach
  • Non-electric - no batteries, no cords, no headaches!
  • Variable soft toss angle and height
  • Easily adjusts for all ages and sizes

Versatile and Durable

Made of 14 gauge steel, the Tru-Toss is close to "kid proof". In the manufacturer’s quest to make products that high school teams can get multiple years of use out of, the Tru-Toss soft toss pitching machine is tough! If any part were to malfunction most everything can be replaced by simple parts from a hardware store. We give the complete unit a one year warranty and in the event the rebounder strings break, the manufacturer will restring it free for life!

trutoss-pitching-machine-lance.jpgThe versatility of the rebounder is one thing that makes the Tru-Toss better than even electric soft toss models. The more you angle the rebounder the faster and farther the ball will bounce. You can raise up the ball release unit and add angle to the rebounder to do "back toss" or "curve ball drills". You can even position the unit to deliver the ball from a front angle (as shown with Lance Berkman) to simulate a slider from either side. You can also work specific areas from the front such as inside pitch locations or outside pitch locations. You or your kids can do all of this without the aid of a partner or the need for electricity. The Tru-Toss is a fantastic tool for coaches. It will free them up to watch kids get quality work in and observe swing habits from different angles. The Tru-Toss is more fun than tee work and allows any age level to get in hundreds of quality cuts in less than an hour without a partner.

    A bit clumsy, but usable

I've been looking for a good soft toss machine for a long time. I purchased a Wheeler Dealer a couple of years ago and found it to be worthless. I was hoping this would be better. I think the idea is good because I saw one (that I wish I could find again) similar many years ago and I like the bounce characteristic so that it can be adjusted. I will say that it is well built (heavy duty) and the support has been very good (there was an L screw that wasn't threaded, so Muhltech shipped a couple out to replace it). his is not something you will take to practice because of it's size and how long it takes to set up for use. It takes at least 15 minutes to make all the adjustments (after finding a level place to set it. I wish the upper ball feeder's gate was not so tall (that wall that stops the ball up top). I had to bend the black launcher lip to get it to fit flush to the base so that it could launch the balls over the inner wall. The weight of the balls in the feeder cause the balls to press against each other and about twenty percent of the time, two balls get fed. I wish there was a little more time to get set once the ball is fed. At best, you have three seconds before it's hitting the trampoline. The bottom feeder should have something to slow the balls down to allow for more time. The launch height is strictly based on the drop. I do think that many improvements will be done and hopefully, Muhltech will send out some odifications to current customers. All in all, this is much better than most soft toss machines I've seen.
