The Personal Pitcher brand was born out of necessity by Bob Richard for his 14-year old son, Chris. The Personal Pitcher provided endless opportunity for batting practice in their small backyard. 12 years later Chris was in the Big Leagues, hitting a home run in his Major League debut. Since then, the father and son team have continued to design and manufacture safe and results-proven pitching machines and products that offer fun, yet challenging practice environments to improve hand-eye coordination, bat speed, bat control and fielding mechanics. For over two decades, the Personal Pitcher, its accessories, and hitting aids have helped to create better baseball and softball players at all levels, from pee wee to professional.
The Personal Pitcher Pitching Machine is a small ball auto feed machine, also known as a micro or mini-ball pitching machine, designed to improve hand-eye coordination, timing and bat speed.
