Instead of a wire cage, it uses a structured polycarbonate shield that protects the eyes, nose, teeth and mouth and withstands impacts well over 80 mph. It comes in two sizes, Medium and Large, with a choice of clear, smoke or black mask and team-color straps.

Polycarbonate Protection With a Clear View

Polycarbonate is the same tough, shatter-resistant plastic used in safety glasses, and the GameFace shapes it into a structured shield with a honeycomb strikebar for strength. Ports in the design keep sight lines open, including peripheral vision, so a pitcher can follow the ball off the bat and a third baseman can track a bunt down the line. The clear mask gives the most open look; the smoke mask cuts glare on bright days.

Designed Not to Fog

Fogging is the most common complaint about solid face guards. The GameFace uses a ventilated airflow system that is designed to never fog and to reduce glare, and the airflow also keeps the face cooler between pitches. Adjustable foam pads at the chin and forehead let a player tune the fit.

Choosing a GameFace Size

Medium: head circumference under 22 inches

Large: head circumference 22 inches and up

Measure around the head just above the ears and eyebrows with a soft tape.
