It is cut from 100% elite interlock polyester, finished with a black rib knit collar and black rib knit sleeve ends, and double stitched throughout. An extra long split tail keeps the shirt tucked in through a full game of running the floor.

Built for Officials Who Never Stop Moving

A basketball official runs the length of the floor dozens of times a game, signals with both arms and bends to watch the low post. The split tail adds tuck-in length so the shirt stays in place through all of it, and the rib knit collar and cuffs hold their shape wash after wash. A loop near the collar holds a whistle lanyard so it stays where an official can find it.

A Clean Look for Every Level

The traditional black and white stripe reads as "official" to players, coaches and fans from the first whistle. That makes it a practical choice for school athletic departments outfitting student and volunteer referees for intramurals and youth games, as well as for working officials in rec and school leagues.

Who This Referee Shirt Is For

Basketball officials working school, rec and adult league games

Athletic departments and PE programs outfitting student referees

Recreation leagues that supply shirts to volunteer officials

Smitty Elite Basketball Referee Shirt Specifications

Sport: basketball officiating

Style: short sleeve V-neck

Fabric: 100% elite interlock polyester

Pattern: black and white vertical stripes

Collar and sleeve ends: black rib knit

Construction: double stitching

Lanyard loop: yes

Tail: extra length split tail for tucking in

Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, XX Large, 3XL, 4XL

Complete the Officials' Uniform

Officials on hardwood need a court-ready black shoe; the 3N2 Patent Reaction Referee Shoes are built for it.
