pro-7x7-sock-net-screen
Pro 7x7 Sock Net Screen

The Pro 7x7 Sock Net Screen is the heavy duty sock net screen for programs that hit every day. The 7 ft tall by 7 ft wide frame is made with 2 inch, 15 gauge steel tubing that is galvanized and then powder coated, so it resists rust and holds its shape under constant use. The frame is padded, and the package includes the net, the padding and the frame.

It comes with a #96 net, the heaviest net in the industry, so it stands up to hard contact from older hitters far longer than lighter nets.

What a Sock Net Screen Does

A sock net screen is a square protective screen with a deep net pocket hanging in the middle of the frame. Hitters drive balls into the pocket during tee work, soft toss and front toss, and the pocket catches the ball and drops it at the base of the screen instead of sending it back toward the hitter. That makes it a hitting station and a protective screen in one piece of equipment. Coaches set it up behind a tee in the cage, on the side of the infield for pregame soft toss, or in a gym for indoor hitting when the weather turns.

Built for High Volume

The 2 inch galvanized frame is the difference. Lighter frames flex and rust at the joints after a few seasons outdoors; the Pro frame stays rigid and square. Pair that with a #96 net and the screen handles high school, college and facility workloads without constant repairs.

Ways to Use It

Tee work: set a tee a few feet in front of the screen and drive line drives into the pocket.

Soft toss: the feeder tosses from the side while the hitter drives the ball into the pocket.

Short front toss: the screen stops balls that are hit back up the middle at a short feeding distance.

Pregame warm ups: set it up along the fence so hitters get loose swings without chasing balls.

Pro Wheel Kit

Add the Pro Wheel Kit for airless tread tires that never go flat, with steel plates that protect the bearings and hub.
